We consider whether your vehicle contains parts that can be professionally removed, tested and reused. This often allows us to offer considerably more than a standard scrap valuation.
How do I find out if I can get more?
Simple, when you use our scrap car quote system you'll get an instant price without the need to call or email us in advance. All we need is your vehicle's registration number (a.k.a. 'number plate'), your postcode and a contact phone number or email address. With this information, our automated vehicle and postcode database will return an immediate price that's guaranteed for 48 hours. You'll then get the option to inform us if the car has alloy wheels or whether you think there's a valid reason for you to receive a higher amount than the price quoted.
Just click on the "Feel your car is worth more?" option after your quote is displayed. By providing us with a brief outline of your reason, there's a good chance we'll pay you extra money on top of the automated price you just received. Alternatively, we'll be happy to chat to you on the phone so you can always give us a quick call during office hours instead if you prefer.

Clean 'front end' - Since we're not middlemen, we deal with the scrapping and recycling of cars directly at our scrap yard on the outskirts of Gravesend in Kent. As part of our commitment to recycle as much of your vehicle as we can, we're always on the lookout for cars that have a clean, salvageable "front end". If the front of your car is in good condition i.e. has a good bumper, good lights, good engine/gearbox and a clean bonnet/front wings, we can often salvage this whole section in order to ship it to overseas markets. If you think this could apply to your vehicle, let us know and we'll tell you if we can pay you extra money on top of the standard price you just received.
Less than 10 years old - It goes without saying that in general, newer cars are worth more money than older ones. Although we predominantly scrap older cars that have reached the end of their natural life, we do still scrap newer cars that are less than ten years old. These are typically cars with a major mechanical fault (e.g. blown engine) or ones that have been involved in an accident and are uneconomical to repair. If either of these scenarios applies to you, let us know as we may be able to pay you more.
