How do I scrap my vehicle?
We are pleased to offer a free collection service for all vehicles disposed of at our treatment facility in Swanscombe, Kent. We shall arrange for your car to be collected by an Ace Car Breakers recovery vehicle at your convenience.
What documentation will I need to scrap my vehicle?
You should provide a valid V5 registration certificate as proof of ownership. We will process your V5 document on-site and issue a DVLA Certificate of Destruction, returned to you by post.
What will happen to my car?
Prior to disposal, any re-usable components will be salvaged and all liquids and hazardous materials removed in accordance with environmental legislation. The de-polluted shell of your vehicle is then crushed and sent to a certified metal recycling facility.
