Because of growing concerns regarding the amount of pollution and waste produced during the disposal of End-of Life Vehicles, the EU ELV directive was introduced into UK legislation in April 2002.
ACE Breakers takes positive and responsible steps to ensure the reduction of the effects of pollution on our environment. Our workplace has been adapted to comply with Government legislation regarding the safe collection, depollution, dismantling, storage and destruction of ELVs.
Every end-of-life vehicle is processed and disposed of on-site legally and in strict accordance with the European End-of-Life Vehicle Directive.
